Locale string in migration

In Migrator there was the option to use the --locale feature of the migration tool, which I used as the US English settings are not the same as UK English

Is this supported in Otto Deploy?

Yes! You can change the destination locale in the file migration options, or by editing a file override for any given file. Just keep in mind that since this is a setting only for the migration options, this section of the file options will not appear for install or replace operations.

Perfect, Thanks @eric.luce

This does not work for an external file like it used to
My path is /opt/Otto/en-GB.txt as the English UK locale information is not the same as English (which is US defaults)
If you type this in the box then it does not stick.

Hey John,

I just realized we made a tracking task for this but never let you know. We’re tracking this bug and investigating a fix. Thanks for the report!

Hey John,

In OttoDeploy version 1.1.0 you can now put in a custom file path for the locale! It will work with any server running OttoFMS version 4.1.1 or higher. Thanks for the report!

Hello all,

I am not sure I can follow @kduval recommendation, how can I strictly specify UK locale for the migration?

Never mind, found it, I didn’t notice the locale field was freely editable.
