Hey y’all,
We’ve just released some exciting new features on the Ottomatic Cloud Console, including a server dashboard, favorites, and a new organization structure that lets you see all of your servers at once!
The Server Dashboard collects functionality from OttoFMS and the FMS Admin Console into a single location for your convenience. In the dashboard you can see stats for your server, manage files, restart FMS services (and OttoFMS), and manage clients. there are many more features planned for this dashboard as well!
The new Favorites feature lets you favorite servers, files, and urls! You can favorite something by clicking the new star icon when you’re looking at it or by going to the favorites tab.
These favorites can be launched from the Cloud Console using the rocket icon in the top right, the Spotlight menu (accessed with Cmd (or Control) + K), or the new favorites tab.
Launching a file will open it in FileMaker Pro, launching a server will open up its dashboard, and launching a url will open that url. We’re also working ways to extend these favorites beyond the site itself to make them even more useful for you!
The reorganization of the org structure now means that the org switcher that used to be in the bottom left is less of a context you are in and more of a filter for pages you are on. You now have a dropdown in the breadcrumbs in the top of the page that will let you change which organizations services you are looking at, with the option to see all of the servers you have access to on the servers page.
